You should order your bar code image at the largest size that will fit into your artwork design. Most commonly used sizes are 80% and 100%. 80% is suitable for printing on printed labels where as 100% is more suited for plastic or plain cardboard. (Please use as a guide only) Other factors can affect the quality of the printed barcode image.

A EPS File is a great way to receive a digital barcode providing you have a desktop publishing program like Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel Draw. Other formats Like PDF, JPG and WMF Format are also available.

If you decide to reduce or enlarge the bar code image it may cause problems scanning the bar code once it is printed. A better option is to provide the size reserved for the bar code and have it custom made to fit that area.
